While electrification is popular today, not many consumers are aware of the efficiency and capabilities of a “heat pump” – which is a misnomer given that they both heat and cool. Mitsubishi Electric needed to capitalize on the growing popularity of electric home comfort and create awareness of their category leadership.
the approach:
Increase awareness of how Mitsubishi Electric is redefining the comforts of home, with innovative technology that impacts people’s everyday lives. We created a video to playfully demonstrate the power and benefits of the brand’s single and multi-zone HVAC systems, communicating the ability to control individual room temperatures; so, families can put an end to what we coined as “the thermostat war.”
the results:
The video was extremely well received by the target audiences with 750,000 completed views – a View-Through-Rate of 71% – over 250% the industry average. And although not an initial key performance indicator, site visits during the campaign period were up over 400%.
